Memorial Day Coloring Book

Officially becoming a holiday in 1971, Memorial Day, originally dubbed Decoration Day, is a Holiday in the United States that honors the brave souls who have perished in the nation's wars. Started on May 30th following the American Civil War, mourners and family placed flowers on the graves of the men and women who were destined to be remembered throughout history for their service and sacrifice. Now the holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, is a tradition meaning many things, unofficially the beginning of summer, family gatherings, barbecues, parades, and time for travel with family.
